From May 17th to 24th,two guests from Netherland wine industry visted China.They travelled to China's main wine regions,tasting Chinese wines and exploring the development of its industry.
They are Dirk,wine buyer for Bidvest DeliXL and Frederic from De Waal-Zey-Engels. In a week's time,they went to Beijing,Huailai,Ningxia,and Yantai regions,visting vineyards, wineries,tasting wines in cellar and meeting winery owers and winemakers.
In Beijing & Huailai regions,they visited Chateau Sungod,Canaan Winery,Amethyst Manor and Dragon Seal Wine Museum. In Ningxia,they visited Chateau Yuhuang,Xixia King Winery, Domaine Chandon (Ningxia) Moet Hennessy,Legacy Peak,Chateau Helan Qingxue,Chateau Zhihuiyuanshi,Silver Heights, Kanaan winery and Chateau Hedong. Last in Yantai,they visited Yantai Best Wine Cellar,Changyu Chateau Castel,COFCO Greatwall (Yantai) Wine company.
During winery visits,they also explored places of interests,delicious Chinese food and enjoyed the diversity of Chinese culture.
After visits,they had some impressions on Chinese wines style and quality.Of course,they found some good Chinese wines.For the problems found during visits,they also offered their suggestions.Chinese wineries still need to study the terriors.Also they should know how to marketing wines on market.Most of Chinese wines couldn’t age,better drink when it's young.Besides,with the rapid development of Chinese wine industry,it's important to set a good image abroad.
