Three US Economics Professors Paid Research Trip on China Wine Industry

On August 13, professors from universities of Washington and Puget Sound visited Yantai Best Wine Cellar.They learnt some information on yantai wine industry from Jim Sun,chief editor from winechina.com,also tasted 5 bottles of typical chinese wines.
Jim Sun introduce PUCUI-China Fine Wines to US professors
Jim Sun first told them about the cellar¡¯s development history and its functions,then introduced PUCUI¡ªChina Fine Wine Alliance and products of its members.They were very surprised to find so many chinese wines here!
Jim Sun prepared 5 typical chinese wines for them tasting,from each region¡¯s location,climate, grape planting to industry development, he made a full introduction. Most of these wines are from microclimate regions, so they were very excited to taste these typical chinese wines.
US professors in Yantai Best Wine Cellar
During wine tasting, guests asked more questions on china¡¯s wine industry,like can china be a bulk wine exporter,what about chinese wines export and wine consumption,etc,Jim Sun answered them.Both sides also agreed first to do wine business information exchanges.
Through this wine travel, they preliminary hope to know more information on China wine industry and make some preparations for later wine business research. In yantai,they visited Changyu wine culture museum,Changyu Chateau Castel and some penglai wineries. Besides,they also visited Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Ningxia wine regions.
