Chateau Guofei located in Xinjiang Heshuo,a region in southern Xinjiang.The harvest of 2016 vintage is underway!
On August 17th,the winery began its first harvesting with Chardonnay grapes,and it will lasts for 3 days.
Zhang Bo,the general manager said,the Chardonnay grapes were very healthy of good quality.The production would be 20 tons.Because of rains in recent days,the harvest was 10 days later than last year.
Their Riesling grapes would be harvested between August 27th-28th.And most red grapes could be wait until September 20th.Syrah is expected on September 10th and Cabernet Sauvignon September 20th.
The winery totally has about 133 hectares of vineyards.Grapes are mainly Chardonnay,Riesling,Cabernet Sauvignon,Merlot and Syrah.Yearly wine production about 1000 tons.
