Sale of Ningxia wines reach 18 million bottles in Q1

Since 2016,the sale of eastern foot of helan mountain wines started to recovery.Statistics shows that in the first quarter,the sale has reached to 18 million bottles,rose 15%,which accounts for 59% of last year's sale.Sales revenue has reached to 1.4 billion yuan.
With pressure of economic downturn and boom of imported wines,the region wine sales experienced "Cold Winter" in last year,with annual sales of 30 million bottles,less than one third of the production.
With a series of promotional activites in Hong Kong,Shanghai,and Beijing,the eastern foot of helan mountain wines were recognized.
Also,each wineries innovated their marketing modes and adjusted product mix.Shao Qingsong,general manager from Chateau Lilan said,"Two of our wines on a online platform sales 10,000 bottles in two months.Our 2012 and 2013 vintage wines almost sold out."A wine from COFCO GreatWall wine (Ningxia) company sold hundreds of thousands of bottles,with revenue of 20 million yuan."Our sales tripled compared to the same period last year."said Ma Yongming,the general manager.Sales of Leirenshou wines in Q1 over 180,000 bottles,up 25%.
