There is no extreme weather in Deqin during last winter and this spring.In mid-March,vineyards located in the lowest altitude started to bud.Now Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah vinyeards at an altitude of 2300 meters began fruit setting,while at the highest altitude of 2800 meters,the Chardonnay just began to bud.
Vineyars of Shangri-La in Yunnan
According to Mr.Wang,the director of shangri-la vineyards,the budding time was about a week later than last year,mainly because of the sun light.The temperature was almost the same,but it snowed on the mountain,so there were many cloudy days.Now we're doing some bud picking and weeding work in vineyards.There are some dry sites,we have to irregate.
