  Taking place from 3-4 October, the auction includes premium Burgundy and Bordeaux lots from a single-owner sale as well as a 21-bottle vertical lot of Harlan Estate.

Sothebys HK announces autumn sale

Sotheby*s Hong Kong autumn sale at the HK Convention and Exhibition Centre kicks off with a heavy focus on top Burgundy and Bordeaux from a single-owner sale estimated between HK$25-34m (US$3.2-4.3m).

 

The collection includes 300 bottles of DRC as well as offerings from Armand Rousseau, Meo-Camuzet and Leflaive. The Bordeaux features all the First Growths and ※Super Seconds§, in addition to the other top classified growths, St- Emilions and Pom谷rols.

 

Particular highlights are:

 

每 Two bottles of 2005 DRC estimated between HK$190,000-260,000 (US$24,000-32,000)

 

每 12 bottles of 2005 Chateau Margaux estimated between HK$50,000 每 65,000 (US$6,500-8,500)

 

每 12 bottles of 1996 Chateau Latour estimated between HK$60,000 每 80,000 (US$7,500-10,000)

 

Sotheby*s evening sale encompasses 1,700 of Burgundy in multiple formats, highlighted by over 200 lots from DRC, Rousseau, Leroy, Cathiard, Dujac and de Vog邦谷. In addition, there are 600 bottles of Champagne from Dom P谷rignon, Krug, Louis Roederer and Jacques Selosse as well as a rare vertical of Vega Sicilia Unico in magnums from 1960 to 2004.

 

Highlights here include:

 

每 12 bottles of 1976 Gevrey-Chambertin ※Clos Saint-Jacques§ Domaine Armand Rousseau estimated between HK$80,000每120,000 (US$10,000 每 15,000)

 

每 12 bottles of 1999 Chambertin Domaine Armand Rousseau 1999 estimated between HK$130,000-200,000 (US$17,000 每 26,000)

 

每  Six bottles of 2009 Chambertin ※Clos de Beze§ Domaine Armand Rousseau 2009 estimated between HK$50,000-70,000 (US$6,500-9,000)

 

The last sale features a rare vertical lot of 21 bottles of Harlan Estate in California including its first vintage of 1990 up to 2010 and estimated between HK$160,000-240,000 (US$20,000-30,000).

 

Separately, the Bordeaux selection from this sale includes Left Bank classed growth from the 1980s to 2010, with parcel lots available from the classic vintages of: 1982, 1990, 1995, 1996 and 2000.
