Gold,wine,coffee,construction materials...Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone is now creating more and more trading platforms.There are bulky goods as well as non-bulky goods in order to attract more international investors.
¡°Currently,many enterprises declare for bulky goods trading platforms.Now we¡¯re sorting,but for the first batch we certainly will choose those risk control goods and modes.¡±said Zhu Min,deputy director of the Free Trade Zone management committee.
Within this year,Shanghai Free Trade Zone will launch several trading platforms for bulky goods,set up an international bulky goods trading and resource allocation platforms and launch the international trade of energy products,basic industrial raw materials and agricultural commodities.
In a year¡¯s time,the free trade zone has achieved cluster effect in financial and service industry,which has laid a good market foundation for boosting the platform economics.
Besides,bulky goods trading platforms,the free trade zone will also launch some platforms for non-bulky goods and financial assets.Shanghai free trade zone wine exchange center will be the first international trading platform for non-bulky goods.
At present,wine exchange center is looking to set branches in UK and France to attract more international investors.¡±We expect by 2018, we can reach to the scale of 10 billion yuan.¡±said Su Wanfeng,president of the center.
In 2013 during its trail operation,the center achieved a turnover of 130 million yuan,accounts for 10% of China¡¯s high-end wine imports.
