I first know Amethyst Manor is from 2011 Rose Wine Challenge during Five Colors New Wine Festival,which its rose wine won a prize.The reason why we hold the new wine festival is inspired by Beaujolais Nouveau.I also want to hold a festival for winemakers in Chinese wine industry.The purpose of holding rose wine challenge is to enhance winemaker’s innovation spirit.Before that,I didn’t know much about Amethyst Manor.

In 2013,we co-organized a Chinese winemaker’s training with Huailai Wine Bureau.And we set the training place in Amethyst Manor.It became my firsthand understanding of this winery.When we first met,Ma Shushen,the general manger looked very serious.Then I thought it would be hard to get along well with him.After training,I again suspended contact with Amethyst.

In the second half of 2013,as Pucui Alliance founded,everything went well.When I organized a experts visit to Huailai,Tian Jiang,the general manager of Hebei Martin Winery advised me to visit the region’s two wineries:Amethyst Manor and Chateau Nobility.With his introduction and my previous contacts with Amethyst,I began to treat this winery seriously.

Sometimes we may need a bridge to communicate with others.So when we met again in the winery,Ma Shusen struck me.Though he may look serious,his heart is as hot as fire,especially his passion for wines.

In the end of 2013,Amethyst Manor became a member of our Pucui Alliance.In our all activities,Ma Shusen is always the most active person with many good ideas and suggestions.
