In the past six months,there were many wine competitions both at home and abroad.We heard many good news from the wineries.The medals are recognition of their wines,also as a glory.Our China Fine Wine Challenge (previous known as ¡°Colombin Cup¡± Yantai International Wine Competition) has been held for seven years.During the seven years,we find Chinese wineries are making more and more good quality wines.We fell very proud of them.
Gansu Qilian Wine Company is a modern enterprise,integrating wine grape cultivation, wine producing and wine selling.It¡¯s grape manor was constructed in 1997.Now it has 15000 mus of vineyards with national ¡°AAA¡±level.It has planted over 30 type of grape varieties,including Cabernet Gernischt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Semillon, Italian Riesling, Syrah,etc.Let¡¯s have a look at its awards:

We can see that China Fine Wine Challenge witnessed Qilian winery¡¯s development.Every year with increasing wine samples and more stricter evaluations,Qilian winery seized Gold medal from the third prize by high quality of wines.It¡¯s proves that wine quality comes first,also their professional management in vineyard and wine making.
To make such a good wine,we believe there is a powerful technical team.Since its foundation ,the winery established a long-term technical cooperation with wine research center in China agricultural university. With their experts,the winery cultivated many high quality wine grapes,such as Cabernet Gernischt, Merlot, Gamay, Semillon, Italian Riesling,etc and imported advanced equipments.Professors Zhang Dapeng and Duan Changqing developed the¡°Qilian Legend¡±brand red and icewine series in four years time.
The winery¡¯s head engineer Chen Yanxiong knows everything about the vineyards and grapes. Every time when I do vineyard report,he always share me lots of information.He spends most of his time in vineyards.So when talking about grapes,he gets very excited,like telling something about his children.
