  This year¡¯s Chinese Wine Summit which will be held in Shanghai has been confirmed for 27-29 February.

Jancis will be one of the judges for this year¡¯s Chinese Wine Summit

 

Chinese wines will be under the spotlight next month in as wine critic heavyweights, Jancis Robinson MW, Bernard Burtschy of France¡¯s Association de la Presse du Vin (APV) and Ian D¡¯Agata of Vinitaly will judge a total of 100 hopefuls before nominating their top 10.

 

Organised and co-hosted by Chinese wine educator, TasteSpirit and the Shanghai Morning Post, the Chinese Wine Summit aims to promote Chinese wine nationally and also outside of the Mainland.

 

The three judges will also host masterclasses throughout the event with D¡¯agata focusing on Italy¡¯s native grape varieties, Burtschy speaking about the ¡°golden decade¡± of Bordeaux and Robinson charting the evolution of wine styles around the world.
