Helan Mountain World Winemakers Challenge (Ningxia Wine Challenge) has improved Ningxia wines quality.So Ningxia government again will invite 60 excellent overseas winemakers to Ningxia and make wines there.
Helan Mountain World Winemakers Challenge (Ningxia Wine Challenge) has improved Ningxia wines quality.So Ningxia government again will invite 60 excellent overseas winemakers to Ningxia and make wines there.
On September 25th,after eight wine judges blind tasting,results of the two-year period Ningxia Wine Challenge announced.Australian winemaker David Tyney,chief winemaker of Ningxia Chateau Yuhuang ,won the first place with his red and white wines.
In 2012,the challenge attracted 50 winemakers from all over the world.After expert¡¯s selection,only 7 winemakers attended,One Frenchman, one Spanish, two Australians, a Chilean, a South African and an American.
During the two year¡¯s time, Ningxia government will provide excellent local wineries for these winemakers as winemaking base,pay up-front costs and shared their wines.
