On August 6th, Germany famous wine writer Natalie Lumpp visited Yantai Best Wine Cellar with her families.She exchanged some industry information with Jim Sun, chief editor of winechina.com and tasted 9 bottles of typical chinese wines.

Jim Sun first introduced the history and functions of yantai best wine cellar.As brand image store of PUCUI-China Fine Wine Alliance, Yantai Best Wine Cellar is the window for wine professionals and wine lovers to know chinese wines. Natalie highly appreciated Jim Sun¡¯s contributions for chinese wines.
Jim Sun selected typical wines from china fine wine alliance and some awarded wines of 2013 china fine wines challenge for tasting.There were white,rose and red wines from china¡¯s main wine regions.During wine tasting, Natalie asked some questions on china wine regions and china's wine industry development. She spoke highly of chinese wine¡¯s quality.She said,it¡¯s a great chance for her to taste so many typical chinese wines.She expected to visit these regions in the future.

During lunch, both hosts and guests exchanged some opinions on food and wine pairing.The master of cellar shared her experience on wine pairing and gave Natalie her newly written food brochure-"Taste Pure and Simple:Chinese ocal Wine and Home-Cooking". Coincidently,as a member of Association Mondiale de la Gastronomie, Natalie also published a food & wine book" Weinund mehr....." On talking about wine and food,there were lots of stories to share!
Natalie Lumpp comes from Baden.She is a famous wine writer, wine critic as well as wine consultant. Besides writing colums for some papers and magazines,she also talk about wines on TV programmes.She even has her own wine website. Natalie is really a big figure in Germany wine industry!
For this trip, she takes vocation time to know china wine industry.They also visited Beijing and Qingdao regions, visting local vineyards,wineries and wine market.
