(China wine online- Syrah Suen): The wine market of Zhe Jiang province (China) maintains a high - speed growth in recent years, especially for the imported wine consumption.
It is reported that the sales of imported wine in Zhe Jiang province increased by 43% in 2008. In the first half of 2009 , wine imports have doubled and redoubled in some areas , such as Wen zhou .
Statistics show that wine consumption ratio in the hotels of Zhe Jiang has reached 48%.
Many wine enterprises also make great contribution for the growth of local wine consumption. Up to now, there are 52156 registered wine enterprises in Zhe Jiang , with 2659 wine wholesalers and 40663 wine retailers.
